This is a great way to keep and display a set of silver dollars. After getting a silver dollar each year for my sons (for 24 years), instead of 24 closed boxes, they have a way of displaying all 24 coins simultaneously. I got one for my older son a few years ago, and, after seeing how much he appreciated it, I decided that my younger son deserved one as well.

The specifications for the wallet are incomplete. The holes are 38mm. Most of the modern 1oz silver coins from the RCM are 38mm inside of a 42mm plastic capsule. So if you are going to use this wallet you will need to remove all the coins from their plastic capsules.
If you look closely at the picture, you will see that indeed, there are no plastic capsules.
Personally I prefer to keep coins in the capsules, especially silver. I would imagine the leather could have a tarnishing affect on the coins.
