Comments about Royal Canadian Mint $15 Sterling Silver Coin Queen Elizabeth II (2009):

A Canadian classic! A bit pricey? Yes, and I would have much rather seen such a spectacular coin issued in .9999 silver. Is it worth obtaining? A definitive - YES!!! (And no, I do not work for RCM advertising!)

Queen Elizabeth II ascended to throne around the time of my birth and has always been predominant on my money and postage. I first saw this coin walking into a Canada Post Office and was blown away!! The relief and contrast is amazing! This coin equates, in my opinion, to the 50 cent Bluenose stamp of Canada, oft condidered to be one of the most beautiful stamps ever produced!

I will be forthcoming with criticism when RCM publishes something I do not like,......but I can find only one thing wrong with this coin,...it could not be used for the "heads or tails" toss at the Grey Cup!

I guess I could have said it all in one word - SUPERB!
