I very much like the design on this coin and the sharpness of the minting. I'm am amateur coin collector so can't say much about purchase or investment value, but I am happy with my purchase. I particularly like the image and how it reflects the image of Queen Elizabeth II on previous Canadian coins, with the mirrored Prince Phillip behind her. The framing around the image is a nice touch.

It's currently the largest coin I own, bigger than a twoonie, I don't think I want anything any bigger.

In most cases the purchase is for one of a particular coin. The cost of shipping for a single coin becomes a decision maker. In the case where multiple coins are purchased the cost for shipment can be justified. It would be of greather help if the cost of shipment could be eliminated at a set figure of say $70.00 Or at least at various times during the year you offered a Promo Code to reflect free shipment.

This was a personal purchase of a momento of an event which will not occur again. This coin pays a great deal of attention to detail of both subjects and is worthy of being passed down from generation to generation. I recommend this for any one who is a fan of the British monarchy!
