Comments about Royal Canadian Mint $5 Sterling Silver and Niobium Coin - Buck Moon (2011):

Like a lot of Mint products, I was not impressed by the presentation box. While it is a step above the usual box, I just felt the material in the presentation could have been improved - the plastic imitation wood is not particularly luxurious. Having said that the coin is quite beautiful. The design is crisp and against the yellow background very striking. The pot marks on the moon is also a nice touch. I do agree the coin is small and it's a pity it couldn't have been a few mm larger. I also agree that it's expensive, again like all Mint products. The uniqueness of this coin is something which made it hard to pass up.

This coin is truly amazing. It's Perfect in every way. It is definitely a must for any coin collector. Move over Austria we now have our own Niobium Series that is excellent in quality, size, and design. I look forward to receiving the other coins. If you didn't preorder these you'll regret it later as a coin collector. The Canadian Mint has now shown the World their here to meet the demands of all those interested in Fine Coins.

Comments about Royal Canadian Mint $5 Sterling Silver and Niobium Coin - Buck Moon (2011):

I bought one and I will probably never get my full purchace price back for many years to come , But it is a first for the mint and I am a collector , I hope they do better at pricing these coins because they are makin a big profit on this series ! When the other color ones come out it may do better than this one .
