Very nice coins, well crafted, among the best seen at the RCM. However, I bought them in the US in a coin shop online and paid 10% less... funny how you can buy RCM collectibles cheaper in the US than at the actual Mint .. makes you wonder..

These coins are just awesome! The low mintage is great, the reverse proof finish is beautiful, and the piedfort size is a nice touch. Obviously, [$] for 1/5oz of gold is a bit dear, but a true collector will not be able to do without.

Both coins are attractive and very well-crafted (I would expect no less); however, the gold coin pales in size next to the larger silver piece. What was added in thickness was at the expense of diameter.

Nonetheless, a gold coin of .99999 purity, coupled with the excellent silver coin and low-mintage, make this set an excellent value.
