this coin is simply stunning. Right when I looked at it, I knew I had to get it. The crystal really adds more detail. Well done, RCM. The price was real heavy, though. Apart from that, it's perfect. If you are a nature lover, get this work of art.

The Canadian Mint has done it again with this years' issue of their 'Maple Leaf with Crystal Raindrop'. This beautiful combination of precious metal and gemstone, this wonderful piece of craftsmanship should be considered a piece of fine jewelry (and could be worn proudly) rather than just an ordinary 'collectible' coin. Every year I wait for the release of the Mints' issue of their collectible Maple Leaf and every year they get BETTER and more beautiful. Kudos out to you folks and many thanks for creating a bit of beauty to add to this world.

The coin has a beautiful design with a maple leaf with a crystal drop. I will keep it for its beauty and long term appreciation. I can see no negative aspect about the coin.
