I purchased this coin because I'm trying to accumulate all of the Year of the Rabbit coins issued worldwide. (It's my zodiac sign.) I was struck by the beauty of this issue's shape and illustration. I believe it would make a wonderful gift or keepsake.

I purchased two sets of these coins when they were first announced. These coins are absolutely wonderful for a personal collection or as a gift idea. Having lived in China for the past eight years these coins have particular significance in my life now and will be something I treasure for the rest of my life.

Images of symbolic beauty for my grand children.
I'm playing around with narrative threads in their lives. Four grandchildren. Your coins are one thread. Poetry, music, spirituality, outdoor education, are others. Camping, hiking, nature, natural history. It all plays a part.
