Comments about Royal Canadian Mint Playing Card Money Set:
I was very excited to finally obtain this set. When I opened it, the first thing I noticed was the size of the cards. They were smaller than I expected. They are about 35 mm in length and 20mm in width and about 3mm in depth. They are beautiful pieces, but the paint color is not quite represented well on the website. The yellow paint on the website is much more golden than in reality. Also the lettering on the cards is in much better detail than on the coins I received. The King of Hearts coin had the worst detail of all the coins, on the obverse side the Queen's hair is minimally detailed compared with the other coins which have very good detail on the obverse. It almost looks like a matte finish. Curious to know if anyone else noticed this with their sets. All in all it's a neat collection, just not quite as beautiful as represented on the website.

The detail and colours are beautiful. This set is as unique as it gets. I am very pleased to add it to my ever growing collection.
