Love the artwork, the aboriginal design really appeals to me! I also like the fact that the mintage is only 2500 worldwide. After purchasing and receiving the Orca, I had to buy the other three to complete the series!

Comments about Royal Canadian Mint 1/25 Ounce Pure Gold Coin - Boreal Forest (2011):
I too find this item very tiny! It is smaller than a dime. I know it is gold and high priced, but my main complaint is the great detail and design of the artwork is completely lost on the coin. It is therefor poorly designed. I reocmmend the cougar gold coin. Or try this in silver instead. And how about an "actual size" image on the website?

Comments about Royal Canadian Mint 1/25 Ounce Pure Gold Coin - Boreal Forest (2011):
I'm always dismayed when I read comments such as "this is so small". Read the specs people, the weight and diameter are clearly outlined. These small coins from the mint are beautifully detailed for such a small area. I just ordered my last one in this series and I can't wait for it to arrive. Well done once again RCM.

Comments about Royal Canadian Mint 1/25 Ounce Pure Gold Coin - Boreal Forest (2011):
I know Gold is expensive but even I did not expect the TINY SIZE OF THE COIN.
IT IS SOOO SMALL the impact of the gold is almost non-existent.I was very disappointed
This coin is good only for someone to enter the gold market on a first time basis
This govenrment site would do well to publish the size of each coin so as not to generate Ill feelings.
Comments about Royal Canadian Mint 1/25 Ounce Pure Gold Coin - Boreal Forest (2011):
I knew the coin was going to be small- so I purchased the silver one as well. They are both stunning and compliment each other. The finish and artwork are exquisite.
I didn't purchase them as an investment, but rather as artwork and if they go up in value- great.
I just really liked the coins.
