Comments about Royal Canadian Mint 1/10-Ounce Gold Coin - 75th anniversary of the world's first mobile blood transfusion unit (2011):
This coin is being offered as a prize for an in-store-only contest during a weekend viewing of the 10kg gold coin at the Vancouver location. The contest statement claims this 1/10-ounce gold coin is valued at $319.95. It is NOT! It is being SOLD for [$] by the RCM, but its value is 1/10th the market price of gold = $165.

Comments about Royal Canadian Mint 1/10-Ounce Gold Coin - 75th anniversary of the world's first mobile blood transfusion unit (2011):
A great idea to honour such an important charactacter in the Canadian and notably Chinese history, where he is burried in Shizhiazhun, in Hebei Province of China where I have visited the city several times and the tomb. From an historical standpoint, I love this coin. The coin is fantastic. It has a good finish and flawless manufacturing quality, but it a bit small, and the 1/10 ounce seems more a bangain coin than a great value.

I was told the story about Dr Normal Bethune since I was little. During WWII, he fought againest facist until the last minute of his life for the freedom of Chinese people. As a Chinese Canadian, as a medical professional, his spirit will live in my heat forever.
