Its a beauty. I couldn't buy it from the mint so bought at the bank wayback in sep 2009 at [$] an ounce :) its double apr 2011. The best advice I can give is SIP - Systematic Investment Plan- buy at regular interval don't worry about the price- history has proved gold moves only in one direction in long term. Anywhere in the world you can encash this due to high respect and reputation for The Royal Canadian Mint Bullion. Please never open and try to feel or clean it, its 24 carat gold and is delicate and loses some value if damaged. Shold be encased in sealed plastic cases.

This is not a bad value for gold-to-the-consumer. It was a fifteen percent premium over spot prices and so competitive with other retailers. There might be better prices on say, [...], but these are Canadian Minted and so have a level of confidence around them. If you don't mind the extra premium, this is a good way to go. Also, you may need to contact the Mint to get the forms you need underway. [...]

This is a great product and a fantastic way to get into gold bullion investing on the ground floor...this is GREAT vlaue for money...I have seen references to other vendors selling this cheaper...it is true, the retail price is cheaper, however, please be sure to do all of your calulations as you will find the RCM "Landed" cost to your door is as cheap as any other supplier...it is a shame that the overall rating of this product is averaged on the comments and whims of the extremely porrly informed!
