I've always wanted to buy a gold coin but hesitated. I saw this one at the Mint pavilion in Vancouver and decided not to buy it then. I went back a few days later with the intent to buy and they were all sold out!

I finally bought one at Canada Post in downtown Vancouver today and couldn't be happier!

When Alexandre Bilodeau stood on the podium, he left a legacy for Canadians forever to come. The beauty of this coin reflects the greatness of this country, and pride Canadians have in showcasing the Olympics. This is a very beautiful coin, and the best thing about it is the limited mintage, which would make it a valuable addition to any collection. However, it is a bit small considering the price tag. Nonetheless, it is unquestionably a coin to be passed on for generations, and if you can get a hold of this coin, do!
