This beautiful coin captures the essence of Vancouver, Whistler and the 2010 Olympics. The design skillfully incorporates elements of BC's culture, geography and climate in a way that maximizes the generous size of this 5 ounce coin.
I have several RCM gold and silver coins, but this will always be one of my favorites. I also own the 5 oz. silver "Look of the Games" coin and it, too, has a special place in my collection. Both are excellent investments, a great way to celebrate Canada's success in the 2010 Winter Games, and a way for me to always have a tangible part of the city and province my wife and I love.

Not only beautiful but also pretty, if you know what I mean. I normally like the timeless traditional looks, but its modernistic layout and design without being too contemporary really drew my heart to it. A pleasure to own and to look at.
