Comments about Royal Canadian Mint 25-Cent Coloured Coin - Notre-Dame-Du-Saguenay (2009):
I have collected coins for the last 30 years, and have never found such a lovely coin such as this. I put my coins away in a safe place, and take them out time after time to admire and view.
Thank You

What a nice design and uplifting theme! I wish the Mint would adopt more of the terrific historic, religious themes upon which this country was founded.

Comments about Royal Canadian Mint 25-Cent Coloured Coin - Notre-Dame-Du-Saguenay (2009):
I bought 2 of these as gifts for religious minded
individuals. Notre Dame du Saguenay was unknown to everyone so it was informative as well as an expression of faith. With specific reference to Christians, Mary as mother of Jesus the Christ, Roman Catholicism, Catholic culture and Quebec points of interest, these commemorative quarters may not be for everyone. However they are also an expression of the history of Canada through the culture and practices of French Canadians who were among the very first Europeans to trod the North American continent. Coins are packaged with an explanatory card. My one objection is to the picture of the statue being applied to the coin rather than the image being engraved or laser cut into it in some way.
