Comments about Royal Canadian Mint 50-Cent Triangle Coin - Six String Nation Guitar (2009):

Purchased on line as an addition to my collection of Cdn. coins. I usually collect only commemorative circulation and 50 cent pieces but this triangular coin captured my imagination. Great theme. I like the design but the hologram could have been larger and more impressive. For presentation, the coin in a triangular protective plastic shell and box with an accompanying booklet would have been fantastic. I love the brushed background and glossy higher relief, somewhat like a reverse proof look. Overall, I love it. Didn't like the 2008 milk one, wish there was one for 2010 and 2011.

OK coin, OK case
By Rob in Calgary from Calgary Alberta on 2/25/2010
Best Uses:
Memorabilia

Comments about Royal Canadian Mint 50-Cent Triangle Coin - Six String Nation Guitar (2009):

Rather disappointed when I received it, it does not compare to the 2008 milk delivery coin or its case. It is Just OK. The case seems to overpower the coin making it appear smaller than it is, I had to put the coins side by side to see that they were the same size. I will probably look closely at the next coin in the series when it comes out then make a decision if I want to continue.
