I just recently grabbed this coin off of [@], they are all sold out here. The coin is a perfect addition to my collection and will definitely apreciate in value as time goes on. The display case is a little large, however it is a very large coin. I am glad to have a new center piece.

Comments about Royal Canadian Mint Fine Silver Kilo Coin Towards Confederation (2008):
A beautiful coin with fantastic detailing. This is a great coin for history buffs with an interest in Canadian history. The level of fine detail on such a large coin is truly amazing. I actually like the lack of edging, it makes this coin unique.

Comments about Royal Canadian Mint Fine Silver Kilo Coin Towards Confederation (2008):
I bought this coin for my daughter, who was born in '08, as something for her to treasure and look back upon as she grows. It is very pricey, as the nominal value of the silver is (as of August 2009)[$] CAD, and the face value is [$]. But the detail and workmanship of this coin is stunning. And even though we live abroad, it will be a great way to introduce to my daughter the history of our country when she is a little older ... and far more interesting than reading it to her from a dry, dusty book!
